Attorney Philip N. Kabler appointed to The Florida Bar Foundation Board

ORLANDO -- The Florida Supreme Court has appointed attorney Philip N. Kabler to a three-year term on the board of directors of The Florida Bar Foundation, a statewide nonprofit organization that funds Legal Aid, as well as programs to improve Florida’s justice system and encourage law students and young lawyers to pursue public interest careers.

As senior vice president and general counsel with AMJ Inc. of Gainesville, Kabler practices in the areas of business and real estate law. He earned his bachelor’s degree at Brandeis University and his juris doctor at the University of Pennsylvania Law School.

Kabler has served several nonprofit organizations. He was a board member of the Alachua County Child Advocacy Center, as well as the St. Francis House, where he also served on the executive committee. He has served as vice president and a member of the executive committee of the Miami Coalition for the Homeless.

Kabler, whose term on the board begins July 1, is also a Fellow of The Florida Bar Foundation.
