Attorney Roberto R. Pardo reappointed to board of The Florida Bar Foundation

ORLANDO — Miami attorney Roberto R. Pardo has been reappointed to serve a second three-year tem on the board of The Florida Bar Foundation, a statewide charitable organization that works to expand access to justice on behalf of Florida’s legal profession.

Pardo, who first joined the Foundation in 2007, is a sole practitioner in Miami and practices in the areas of criminal defense and personal injury.

He received his bachelor’s degree from Florida International University and his juris doctor from the University of Miami School of Law.

As a member of the Foundation’s board, Pardo has served on the development, finance and audit, investment and legal assistance for the poor/law student assistance grant committees.

Pardo, a member of The Florida Bar, has also served as director of the Cuban American Bar Association and is currently on the Board of Directors of the Miami chapter of the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.

For many years, Pardo also served on the Eleventh Circuit Unlicensed Practice of Law Committee "D" and the Grievance Committee “B” for which he received a Meritorious Public Service Awards.

Pardo, a Florida Bar Foundation Fellow, will begin his term July 1.
