ORLANDO — Winter Park resident Sam Stark, president & CEO of the Central Florida Sports Commission, has been appointed as a public member to serve a three-year term on the board of The Florida Bar Foundation, a statewide charitable organization that works to expand access to justice on behalf of Florida's legal profession.
Stark received his bachelor's degree from Rollins College in Winter Park and has worked in various capacities in the event promotions and development field before becoming president & CEO of the Winter Park Chamber of Commerce in 2002.
In 2008, Stark became president & CEO of the Central Florida Sports Commission. Stark is active with The Florida Bar and was as member of the Bar's Citizens Forum from 2006 to 2009. Stark also serves on the Board of Directors of the Winter Park Public Library, the Rollins College Alumni Board and the Advisory Board of 1World Sports. Stark's term will begin July 1.
